The work of one of the best-known American artists of the 20th century has come to south-east London. Norman Rockwell's America at the Dulwich Picture Gallery, which is celebrating its bicentennial year, exhibits a remarkable collection of selected original art spanning his six-decade career. Described as "completely exceptional" by Radio 4, this exhibition is the first of his original works in the UK. It includes all 323 Saturday Evening Post covers created between 1916 and 1963, as well as illustrations for advertisements, magazines and books. Whimsical and witty, it's the perfect way to while away a few hours.
