Turning Japanese

Turning to Japan for his inspiration for a new range of chocolates, luxury chocolatier Marc Demarquette has created the Isaké Sugidama chocolate. Isaké is a Japanese design firm and an importer of sake to the UK. The new chocolates are shaped to reflect the cedar balls that hang outside sake shops in Japan and use Isaké's premium red sake.
Having worked on the recipe all year, Demarquette isn't about to let out his secrets now. The final chocolates have the patina of a hand-painted Christmas bauble and are the ideal treat for the festive season.
